Yahoo! political dashboard

Yahoo! has created a political dashboard that collects primary and poll information in a real-time, interactive interface (click on the image for a larger view). I’ve been playing around with this tool since the beginning of the year, and I’ve found the way it mixes different kinds of information to be helpful in following the campaigns.

I’ve seen a couple of stories over the last few days on the influence of the internet on political processes and the impact of social networking sites on the same. As more tools like this dashboard become available to voters, it will be interesting to see how (or if) network effects play a role in the upcoming presidential elections.
